Black Catholic Round-up, Christmas music edition (12/3/2020)

In the long history of Black Catholicism, a great many musicians have come from among its ranks. From the New Orleans roots of jazz to the Black Catholic haven of New York, music and Moors and Marian devotion just seem to go hand-in-hand. (Forgive the crude alliteration.)

Speaking of Mary, I heard she is due to have a baby soon, so I—with great pleasure—assembled for you and your kin a playlist of Christmas tidings from Black Catholic musicians, singers, and composers.

I pray it will brighten your season with Blackness.
